It is reached by a driveway lined with cedars and magnolias, running alongside the park and orchard. At the end of the hamlet, now in the heart of nature, the house invites you to relax.
Built with its outbuildings at the end of the 18th century, the building is typical Périgord farmhouse architecture, with exposed stonework and local brick, topped with large flat tile roofs with double slope.
The two main buildings, aligned along the “façade”, have been joined by a fully glazed entrance designed for their restoration, transforming the traditional farmhouse into an elegant “longère” with character. Inside, the different styles and eras blend together in the comfort and authentic luxury of fine country homes.
The large glass entrance hall. The welcoming atmosphere of the house is revealed, with nature literally framing it. A very welcoming room that sets the tone from the moment you arrive.
The living room, for shared moments. Originally a barn overlooking the Bergerac hills to the south, the house has become a beautiful, comfortable living space with plenty of natural light. A place of conviviality with joyful and refind serenity where you can enjoy a lounge around a large fireplace, a hi-fi corner with TV, a fully-equipped kitchen closed off by a bar, a wine-tasting cellar, a cosy dining area… and high ceilings.
Air-conditioned in summer for total comfort, its vast windows can welcome the sun!
The “petit salon” with office. A separate room in the west wing, it can be used as a study, a TV room, a games room or the private sitting room/office of the Chambre Elsa next door, creating a harmonious, cosy Suite with 2 large shower rooms.
Five poetic Bedrooms and Suite, each in its own way, testify to the harmony of the residence with its country setting.
Set in the 2 wings, they offer a sleeping area that can easily be adapted to suit the number of guests, because outside the summer period and the festive season, the house can be rented on an à la carte basis, from 4 people upwards.
A guest toilet, utility room, corridor and hallways with cupboards complete the layout of the house.
